Overview

We are seeking Regional Sales Managers to build an exceptional sales organization from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity to be a leader in a company that is developing innovative products in a new and booming industry.
You must have experience in building a sales team with proven results including recruiting, training, and setting quotas. You will be expected to manage sales processes from lead generation to closing. Ideally, you’re someone who understands the long-term value created by fostering a sales culture into the ethos of the company. You would be the first hire in your region, and must be able to operate in a startup environment (i.e. perform different roles, create new processes, learn and adapt quickly).

Responsibilities include:
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and business partners.
• Arrange and schedule face-to-face visits with co-ops and dispensaries.
• Develop knowledge and stay up to date on company product line and other products in the market.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations with key decision makers.
• Evaluate and meet customer needs.
• Achieve sales using various methods such as in-person visits, phone calls, presentations, etc.
• Maintain an awareness of market behavior and sales trends and respond accordingly.
• Develop strategies for increasing opportunities in various market areas.
• Process orders and forward details to company office headquarters.
• Achieve sales goals, as directed by company executive management.
• Attend trade shows and other events to stay up to date with market trends and promote company products.
• Regularly meet with management to review weekly sales activities.

Qualifications:
•Experience and relationships in the cannabis industry.
•Must own a car and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and auto insurance.
•5 years of customer service and sales experience.
•Have a California medical marijuana recommendation.
•Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
•Excellent written & verbal communication & presentation skills.
•Outstanding interpersonal and persuasive skills.
•Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and product-related information in a professional consultative manner.
