Overview
BASIC FUNCTION:
The basic function of the Sales Representative is to provide direct support to sales team in ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure the department can meet its growth targets.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
Work with key retail accounts to grow sales across all categories
Travel in managed territory visiting accounts, evaluating brand performance & collecting
market share information
Create direct sales through contact with buyers
Continually monitor account sales, inventory, new sales opportunities
Develop & implement promotional schedule
Daily correspondence with accounts
Obtain, review, and create monthly/seasonal “pre-book” sales orders
Work closely with retailers to process A/O and “fill-in” orders
Prepare detailed sales information, brand position, and performance updates at meetings
Education on Nevada Marijuana Compliance Laws
QUALIFICATIONS:
MUST possess or obtain a Nevada Marijuana Establishment Agent Card
Pass required drug screening, criminal background check
Reliable transportation and VALID Nevada Driver’s License
Strong “relationship-building” skills
MS Office, CRM, POS proficient
Well organized, determined, motivated, and driven
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Sales experience a MUST, minimum 3 years, Outside Sales preferred
Cannabis sales experience/connections to buyers in the industry preferred
Knowledge of Nevada Marijuana Compliance Laws
